General Superintendent
David Kessler
David has more than 30 years in the field. He started with Hirschi as a laborer in the early ’90s, and a foreman talked him into picking up a trowel. He’s been laying block ever since.
In 1994 he left to join the union and went to work for Marnell, along with other union contractors, where he learned to read plans and run work — first as a lead man, then as a foreman, and now as a general superintendent.
Over three decades he’s built schools for the kids, casinos for the tourists, and buildings for the military. As he puts it, this trade has been good to him.
When he’s not working, Dave is with family and friends — camping, off-roading, or out at a show with his wife.
